They are seeking a dynamic and driven Field Engineer to join their team, specializing in Wireless Networks and Radio Frequency. As a Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and expanding our client's wireless network infrastructure to support their trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain wireless network equipment, including access points, antennas, and controllers.
  • Troubleshoot network performance issues and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess Radio Frequency propagation characteristics and recommend improvements to enhance network coverage and capacity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement wireless network solutions tailored to specific trading strategies and requirements.
  • Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities or threats.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and other stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with wireless networks technologies 
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and standards, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and DNS.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues using tools such as Wireshark, Spectrum Analyzers, and RF signal meters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
