As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and optimizing current network infrastructure, designing and implementing new network elements, and ensuring the seamless operation of a large, high-volume service provider network.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Cisco ASR9000s and related switches and routers.
  • Migrate and maintain hosts into segregated, secured network segments with appropriate security policy.
  • Champion architectures to meet current and future engineering, systems, and development requirements. Assist in the design, deployment, and documentation of these technologies.
  • Strong documentation and creation of process in a form of MOPs, incident reports, change documentation, and network diagrams.
  • Communicate best practices to other networking personnel
  • Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewalls, Security appliances vital to business applications.
  • Design, setup & configure complex switching & wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and IP video applications.
  • Assist in the design of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, LAG groups
  • Maintaining multi-site network operations and software applications, operating system and regular maintenance with both private and public facilities
  • Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Be a point of escalation for technical support personnel.
  • Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
  • Conducts routine network hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.


Skills/Must have:

  • Cisco ASR9k Routing and Switching Experience 
  • MPLS, BGP, OSPF Experience 
  • ISP/IP Background/Experience 
  • Extensive Carrier side Network Design Experience
