 Hamilton Barnes are representing a leading IT-Consultancy who are looking for a Network Engineer for one of their exclusive clients. 

This role is an initial 6-Month Contract, with views for multiple extensions. 

As a Service Operations Manager for an IT project, your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of IT services to meet project objectives. 


Responsibilities:

  • Leading the service operations team, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Developing and implementing service operation strategies, policies, and procedures to align with project goals and requirements.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of IT services, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders to understand service requirements and priorities.
  • Working closely with vendors and external service providers to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Leading service transition activities, including planning, testing, and deployment of new services.
  • Ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing regular reports and updates to project management and stakeholders on service performance and key metrics.

Skills/Must have:

  • 10+ Years in Project and Program Management 
  • Successfully managed large scale IT-Projects in previous roles 
  • Technical experience working in Datacenter projects
  • Strong team work and communication skills 
  • The ability to lead and motivate teams and provide clear direction

Salary/Day Rate:

  • Up to £550 per Day
