Following a series of new contract wins in Virginia, they are seeking a Data Center Technician to join their expanding team and help ensure the continued reliability and performance of their network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Installing, configuring, and replacing servers, storage systems, and networking hardware
- Conducting preventive maintenance and reporting faults
- Monitoring server performance and network systems for uptime and efficiency
- Running diagnostics and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Ensuring proper labeling and documentation of cable layouts and ports
- Testing and terminating cables as required
- Maintaining accurate records of interventions, maintenance, and installations
Skills/Must have:
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction documents such as blueprints, technical specs, and quality/compliance guidelines
- Knowledgeable in identifying and differentiating cable types including CAT 3, CAT 5, riser, plenum-rated, PVC, and fiber optic cables
- Familiar with standard telecommunications color coding schemes
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively with teams
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, lifts, or poles as required
- Able to perform tasks in restricted or confined areas
- Must satisfy the company’s basic requirements for operating a vehicle
