A full-time, permanent opportunity is available for a skilled Datacentre Operations Engineer to support the physical layer of a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster at a state-of-the-art facility in Norway. This role is critical to the operation of a global low-latency trading infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, network hardware, and structured cabling in a high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain infrastructure, including network devices, structured cabling, and servers.
  • Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and support.
  • Manage inventory and logistics, including international shipping.
  • Support large-scale deployments and contribute to network design and hardware selection.

Requirements:

  • Extensive datacentre experience, especially with high-speed networking
  • Racking, stacking, cabling
  • Strong knowledge of networking and server hardware/software.
  • Proven ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex infrastructure.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call and out-of-hours work when required.
