Responsibilities: 

Design and Architecture:

• Develop and implement scalable IP/MPLS network designs for enterprise-level ISP environments.
• Integrate secure network solutions around Fortinet firewalls and F5 load balancers, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust security postures.
• Participate in high-level design discussions to build resilient network infrastructures that meet enterprise requirements for high availability and performance.

Network Security:

• Establish and maintain security policies, access controls, and encryption protocols to secure network infrastructure.
• Leverage Fortinet firewalls for advanced threat protection and policy management in multi-tenant ISP environments.
• Configure and maintain F5 load balancers to optimize traffic flow and protect against DDoS and other network-based threats.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of IP/MPLS network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining SLAs.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, and QoS to quickly identify and resolve complex network problems.
• Collaborate with ISP technical teams to optimize network security and performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Develop documentation for network designs, configurations, and security policies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, implementing best practices for network security and privacy protection.

Required Skills/Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience in IP/MPLS network design and troubleshooting, with a deep understanding of protocols like BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPNs.
• Proficiency with Fortinet firewall administration and F5 load balancer configurations for enterprise-scale deployments.
• Experience in designing security solutions for ISP or large-scale network environments, including policy creation and security incident management.
