Our client is looking for an IT Support Engineer for a short-term contract in Central London.

The role will be to provide onsite IT server and infrastructure support.

Contract Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 2 months (2-3 days per week)
  • Location: Central London (on-site)
  • Day Rate: Negotiable (Outside IR35)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Windows Server Administration: Manage and maintain Windows servers, ensuring uptime and reliability.
  • Active Directory: Handle user accounts, passwords, and permissions effectively.
  • Office 365 Support: Assist users with O365 applications and resolve related issues.
  • Hardware & Software Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Printer & User Setup: Configure and set up hardware such as printers, computers, and mobile devices.
  • Ticketing System Management: Log incidents and requests, track resolution progress, and ensure timely closure.
  • Network Support: Troubleshoot connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN) and assist users in connecting to network resources.
  • Monitoring & Incident Management: Proactively monitor IT systems and address irregularities or incidents.
  • Software Installation: Install or assist users with software applications and updates.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional user support.
  • Basic technical knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting methods.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively.
