Responsibilities
- Advising clients on hardware and software matters to ensure the efficiency of their IT systems
- Installing, configuring, and administrating AIX systems
- Independently or collaboratively addressing operational project requirements for clients
- Troubleshooting issues employing remote and diagnostic tools
- Undertaking sub-project management tasks
- Independently managing incident and problem resolution (2nd & 3rd level support) for IBM AIX systems
- Expanding monitoring capabilities and automating deployment and configuration management
- Crafting process descriptions and documentation for IT staff
- Sharing knowledge and offering guidance on customer-specific system solutions
Experience & Skills
- Possessing a completed apprenticeship, degree, or an equivalent qualification in IT or a related field
- Demonstrating solid knowledge of AIX
- Ideally, having experience with Microsoft servers and Cisco network components
- Exhibiting strong team spirit and the ability to work independently with a sense of responsibility
- Being willing to work and travel as needed
- Proficiency in English
