Responsibilities 

  • Advising clients on hardware and software matters to ensure the efficiency of their IT systems
  • Installing, configuring, and administrating AIX systems
  • Independently or collaboratively addressing operational project requirements for clients
  • Troubleshooting issues employing remote and diagnostic tools
  • Undertaking sub-project management tasks
  • Independently managing incident and problem resolution (2nd & 3rd level support) for IBM AIX systems
  • Expanding monitoring capabilities and automating deployment and configuration management
  • Crafting process descriptions and documentation for IT staff
  • Sharing knowledge and offering guidance on customer-specific system solutions


Experience & Skills 

  • Possessing a completed apprenticeship, degree, or an equivalent qualification in IT or a related field
  • Demonstrating solid knowledge of AIX
  • Ideally, having experience with Microsoft servers and Cisco network components
  • Exhibiting strong team spirit and the ability to work independently with a sense of responsibility
  • Being willing to work and travel as needed
  • Proficiency in English
