Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present technical solutions focused on the Cisco stack, tailored to public sector requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide enterprise-level architecture solutions.
  • Build and enhance capabilities in Cisco solutions, including Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA, Meraki, and more.
  • Integrate complementary technologies like Fortinet Firewalls, Avaya, HPE Aruba, Juniper, and ADVA into solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to refine managed services and outsourced offerings.
  • Defend proposed technical solutions with confidence and expertise.


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven pre-sales experience in a technical environment, particularly with the Cisco stack.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector solutions and experience with healthcare or government clients is advantageous.
  • Expertise in networking technologies, including firewalls, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking.
  • Ability to design, articulate, and defend complex technical architectures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and internal teams.


Working Environment:

  • Office-based role — Initially expected onsite for the first 3 months.
  • Once settled, attendance is based on performance, with team members typically coming in once a week.
  • Customer site travel is covered.


Salary:

  • £80,000 - £84,000 per annum (up to £90,000 for exceptional candidates).
  • Bonus: 20% (linked to personal KPIs and public sector performance, paid quarterly).
