  • Responsible for proactively responding to alarms to minimize service outages.
  • Escalate incidents as per procedures and effectively communicate with stakeholders. 
  • Promptly perform necessary actions to restore service during degradation or outage conditions. 
  • Conduct regular checks on systems and services to ensure reliability.
  • Monitor distress traffic in the network and take immediate action if needed.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement by presenting ideas and creating efficient operational and technical processes.
  • Provide support, coaching, and training to other engineers and teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Good understanding of satellite communication networks, systems, and propagation.
  • Knowledge of VSAT, Ka band, L Band, and C bands.
  • Familiarity with digital communication networks, protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, routing), and architecture (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • 40% Shift allowance + 10.5% bonus.
