Responsibilities:

  • Lead both Engineering and Operational aspects in the operating model, contributing to the success of government initiatives.
  • Develop and deploy AWS infrastructure with Terraform IaC, ensuring efficient and scalable cloud solutions.
  • Build and manage Jenkins CD Pipelines, streamlining the deployment process for optimal efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong DevOps proficiency with AWS technologies (EC2, EKS, RDS, Route 53, VPC, S3).
  • Utilize DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, Docker, Helm.
  • Implement security policies (IAM, encryption, network security).
  • Engage in Frontend Scripting (Java, Python) to enhance project capabilities.
  • Familiarity with other product life cycle aspects for comprehensive project understanding.
  • Configuration of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.) for effective system oversight.

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. Proven expertise in leading both Engineering and Operational aspects in a dynamic operating model.
  2. Demonstrated proficiency in developing and deploying AWS infrastructure with Terraform IaC.
  3. Strong experience in building and managing Jenkins CD Pipelines, ensuring a streamlined deployment process.
  4. Solid understanding of DevOps proficiency with AWS technologies (EC2, EKS, RDS, Route 53, VPC, S3).
  5. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, Docker, Helm.
  6. Implementation of security policies (IAM, encryption, network security) for project integrity.
  7. Frontend Scripting proficiency in Java and Python.
  8. Familiarity with other product life cycle aspects for comprehensive project understanding.
  9. Configuration experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.) for effective system oversight.

Salary:

  • Day Rate - Up to £425 Inside IR35
