Responsibilities:

  • Lead the administration and management of Azure and AWS cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components, ensuring maximum availability and performance.
  • Design, implement, and enforce security best practices across both Azure and AWS, with a focus on identity management, access control, compliance, and risk management.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve advanced issues within Azure and AWS environments, networking, and system integrations, maintaining optimal connectivity and security.
  • Architect and manage complex networking solutions in Azure and AWS, including virtual networks, VPNs, Direct Connect (AWS), security groups, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Take ownership of supporting and optimizing the Citrix environment, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Virtual Apps, ensuring high availability and seamless user experiences for virtual desktops and applications.
  • Oversee the utilization of ConnectWise ticketing system to track, manage, and escalate incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolutions and minimal downtime.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on Linux systems, troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and support tasks as needed.
  • Drive the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and performance reports.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define, deliver, and maintain integrated cloud solutions that drive organizational objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations, resolving escalated issues, and fostering collaboration.


Skills/Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Advanced certifications and training are a plus.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in managing Azure Cloud and AWS Cloud environments, with advanced hands-on expertise in cloud resources, networking, and security management across both platforms.
  • Strong experience with Citrix administration, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, with a focus on troubleshooting, performance optimization, and high availability.
  • Extensive experience with ConnectWise ticketing systems and incident management, demonstrating the ability to handle complex requests and deliver solutions effectively.
  • Proficiency with Linux systems, including troubleshooting, system configuration, and support tasks in multi-cloud environments.
  • Expertise with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, AWS CLI, Azure CLI), with a proven ability to automate complex workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues in both cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
