Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Sarah, a few facts about me...

• Started out contracting in IT (back when floppy disks were still a thing).
• Fascinated by all things Astronomy - I could listen to Professor Brian Cox for hours.
• A lifelong Brosette.
• And I’ll always love Madonna.

After studying Computer Science at university, I began my career on the contracting side of IT. A few years in, I took time out to raise my family full-time, the most rewarding project of all! When I was ready to return to work, I found that the tech I’d once worked on was now the kind you see behind glass in science museums.

As luck would have it, an opportunity came up at Hamilton Barnes when the Marketing Executive role became available. It was the perfect way to return to the world I’d always loved, just from a new perspective.

Now, as part of the Hamilton Barnes team, I help shape how we connect with the networking community, creating marketing strategies, content, and campaigns that highlight our expertise in sourcing exceptional talent across Network Engineering and Telecommunications.

I’m proud to work for a company that continues to be recognised for its success and culture. Tech has always been my passion, and while I might not be hands-on with routers and switches anymore, being here keeps me close to the industry I love and one that’s constantly evolving and shaping the world around us.

Outside of work, I love keeping fit, especially swimming, to balance out my love of good food and wine. I also love to travel, go for long walks, and spend time with my family… and of course, my cat. 🐾
