Responsibilities:

• Plan and kick off new projects
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and customer safety standards
• Erect utility poles
• Maintain and repair overhead fiber optic infrastructure
• Install new strand and lash fiber
• Install and service down guys, overhead guys, and related supports
• Construct risers and set up snow shoes or slack coils
• Perform tree trimming around utility lines

Skills/Must have:

• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience
• Knowledge of overhead power and communication line installation
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and, if applicable, climbing equipment such as belts and gaffs
• Strong understanding of safety protocols for telecommunication projects 
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Valid CDL-A licence highly preferred

Salary:

• $26 - $32 per hour
