They are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join their team in a hybrid capacity based in Norwich. This role focuses on building, delivering, and supporting scalable cloud solutions while contributing to platform engineering and project delivery within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Jira stories in line with sprint and project plans
  • Take ownership of assigned objectives and technical deliverables
  • Design, build, and deliver platform and project-based solutions
  • Adopt and utilise appropriate tools and technologies to meet team goals
  • Organise, facilitate, and actively participate in meetings and Scrum ceremonies
  • Contribute to deployment and implementation planning


Requirements:

  • Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and networking services, including Control Tower, AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies, VPC, Cloud Factory, and machine image management
  • Expertise across key AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, Step Functions, SSM, IAM, Security services, Backup, ACM, and KMS
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (eg, Datadog, PagerDuty, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SIEM integrations)
  • Additional Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Squid Proxy, Trend Micro, HashiCorp Vault, Git, and Groovy
  • Understanding of DNS (A and CNAME records), Firewalls, routing, NACLs, NAT, Active Directory, encryption, and SSL


Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
  • Location: Norwich- (Hybrid)
  • Start Date: ASAP
