Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the company-wide information security and compliance strategy across infrastructure, cloud, and corporate domains.
- Build and lead a security architecture framework aligned to FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, and ISO 27001 standards.
- Oversee implementation of security controls across physical data centers, networks, and public cloud environments.
- Establish and run programs for risk assessment, threat modelling, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Collaborate with product, cloud, and network teams to embed security automation into CI/CD and operations pipelines.
- Engage with regulators, auditors, and key customers to ensure continuous compliance and trust.
- Recruit and lead a small, high-caliber team of security engineers, compliance specialists, and analysts.
Skills / Must Have:
- 10+ years of experience in information security leadership, preferably within hyperscale, cloud, or critical infrastructure environments.
- Proven track record building and running compliant environments (FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II).
- Deep technical understanding of network, cloud, and application security, including DevSecOps principles.
- Experience developing and enforcing policies for both physical and logical security domains.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of interfacing with executive leadership and government partners.
- Security certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CCISO, or equivalent).
