Responsibilities:
- Originate and close new business for data center capacity (MW), white space and associated services
- Target Spanish enterprises including banks, retailers, manufacturers, CDNs and fast-growing corporates
- Engage with hyperscalers and neo-cloud providers alongside internal stakeholders
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to commercial agreement and capacity reservation
- Translate customer requirements around power density, cooling, resilience and scalability into viable commercial solutions
- Educate enterprise customers on DLC, AI-ready infrastructure and future-proof data center design
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of pre-operational opportunities ahead of 2027 delivery
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and long-term commitments
- Work closely with technical, legal and delivery teams to structure contracts and fit-out solutions
Skills/Must have:
- Proven background in the data center sector (capacity, space, contracts, fit-out and value-added services)
- Established commercial network within the Spanish data center ecosystem
- Strong hunter mentality with a track record of new logo acquisition
- Deep understanding of data center commercial models and contractual structures
- Ability to sell future capacity and guide customers through early-stage commitments
- Fluent Spanish (English not mandatory)
- 10+ years’ experience in data center business development or sales
- Background with traditional data center operators or colocation providers
- Demonstrated experience selling to enterprise and corporate customers
