Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive consulting on the planning, design, and operation of electrotechnical data center infrastructures
- Develop holistic data center concepts with a focus on availability, efficiency, and scalability
- Support new builds, conversions, and expansion projects from concept phase through to implementation
- Prepare feasibility studies and technical concepts, particularly for electrical and refrigeration infrastructures
- Evaluate existing data center infrastructures with regard to operational reliability, energy efficiency, and compliance (e.g. EN 50600)
- Create specifications and requirement documents in close collaboration with clients
- Support tendering and procurement processes, including the evaluation of service providers and suppliers
- Accompany commissioning, acceptance testing, fault analysis, and audits
- Act as a technical contact for customers and project stakeholders
Skills/Must have:
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, building services engineering, building technology, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in data centers or critical infrastructure environments (planning, operation, or consulting preferred)
- Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
- Electrical infrastructure (UPS, MSR, NSHV, emergency power systems)
- Refrigeration and air conditioning technology
- Availability and redundancy concepts
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
- Confident communication skills and professional client-facing presence
- Very good German language skills; good English skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel within Germany
