They are looking for a leader to oversee site operations, manage on-site teams, and ensure uptime across power, cooling, and facility systems. Drive performance, reliability, and operational excellence while coordinating with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors to maintain world-class service standards.

This is a leadership role focused on managing on-site operations teams, ensuring uptime across all systems, and driving performance, reliability, and efficiency across the facility. Act as the key point of responsibility for operational excellence, working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all critical facility systems including electrical, mechanical, and environmental infrastructure. 
  • Lead and manage the on-site operations team, ensuring performance, coverage, and development.
  • Ensure continuous uptime across UPS, generators, PDUs, cooling systems, and environmental controls. 
  • Implement and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programmes. 
  • Monitor and optimise power usage, redundancy, and energy efficiency (including PUE improvements). 
  • Oversee cooling strategy, temperature, and humidity management across the facility. 
  • Lead incident management and act as escalation point for critical events (power, cooling, fire, etc.). 
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory, and certification standards. 
  • Manage physical security systems and site access controls. 
  • Oversee vendor and contractor management, including SLAs and performance tracking. 
  • Support capacity planning, space utilisation, and future expansion of the data center. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and audit readiness across the facility.


Skills/Must have:

  • Strong experience in data center operations, critical facilities, or mission-critical environments. 
  • In-depth knowledge of:
    • UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs
    • CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, HVAC systems
    • Fire detection & suppression systems
    • Security and access control systems 
  • Experience managing operations teams and technical staff.
  • Strong understanding of BMS / DCIM systems and monitoring tools. 
  • Experience with incident management, RCA, and operational procedures (SOPs, MOPs, EOPs).
  • Knowledge of HSE standards, compliance, and audit requirements. 
  • Ability to manage vendors, subcontractors, and service providers.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
