Responsibilities:

• Work in a hybrid working model (with flexibility)
• Lead and develop the DDoS Defence team
• Own and manage the DDoS defence portfolio
• Disciplinary Management for the team
• Lead hiring and team growth
• Act as a key interface between engineering, architecture, product, and senior management
• Drive the development and roadmap of the in-house DDoS protection product
• Provide technical leadership in:
  • DDoS mitigation
  • Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
• Traffic scrubbing and defence mechanisms
• Support architectural and strategic security decisions
• Occasional travel as required

Skills/Must have:

• Several years of experience in DDoS protection, network security, or large-scale security environments
• Proven people management experience in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of:
• DDoS mitigation strategies
• Web Application Firewalls
• Scrubbing centres / traffic mitigation
• Experience owning or operating security platforms or products
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (onsite presence required)

Salary:

• Salary up to €110,000 per year (depending on experience and availability)
