They are looking for a Design Manager to contribute to designing, maintaining, and optimizing critical data center infrastructure. Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate data center design from concept through to tender across multiple projects
• Act as the key counterpart to external design consultants, guiding discussions across mechanical, electrical, and security disciplines
• Support project managers by translating high level plans into structured design priorities and deliverables
• Contribute to and improve design standards, processes, and technical blueprints across the organisation
• Support tender processes including technical input, evaluation of proposals, and vendor coordination
• Assist in testing and commissioning phases, validating performance and ensuring systems meet requirements
• Provide technical advisory support across site selection, feasibility studies, and client requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams including operations, sales, and project management, as well as external stakeholders
• Drive sustainability initiatives and support energy efficiency improvements across data center designs

Skills/Must have:

• Broad understanding of data center infrastructure including mechanical, electrical, and security systems
• Ability to assess technical changes and understand cross-functional impact across systems
• Experience working with design consultants and acting as a technical counterpart in discussions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders and clearly document decisions
• Confident and proactive approach, comfortable leading discussions and influencing outcomes
• Self-starter with strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise across multiple projects
• Experience in technical environments such as data centers, engineering consultancy, or similar infrastructure sectors
