They are seeking a hands-on Director of Unified Communications to lead and grow their Cisco UC practice within a dynamic MSP environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and scale the UC practice, setting technical direction and best practices
• Remain hands-on in pre-sales, supporting solution design, client presentations, and proposal development (SOWs, HLDs)
• Architect and oversee delivery of Cisco UC solutions (CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX, CUBE, Expressway, Webex)
• Drive UCaaS and cloud collaboration strategies, including migrations from on-prem to cloud
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical challenges
• Collaborate with sales leadership to drive revenue growth and solution positioning
• Mentor and develop engineering teams, ensuring high-quality delivery across projects
• Engage directly with clients as a trusted advisor, aligning technical solutions with business goals
• Ensure successful project execution and customer success outcomes across multiple engagements

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Cisco Unified Communications, including architecture and design
• Strong background in both on-prem and UCaaS environments
• Proven experience working within an MSP or multi-client environment
• Demonstrated pre-sales experience, including solution design and client-facing presentations
• Deep understanding of SIP, VoIP, dial plans, and call routing
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Direct Routing, and Teams Phone
• Exposure to Webex Calling / Webex Contact Center and cloud collaboration platforms
• Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE Collaboration or equivalent)
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments
