Join a leading network infrastructure provider as a Network Planner (m/f/d), where you will play a key role in designing and supporting long-haul transmission services across a diverse transport technology environment. This position focuses on the planning of long-haul fiber and transmission infrastructure, working with technologies such as SDH, PDH, DWDM, and microwave systems to ensure reliable, high-capacity connectivity. The role involves producing detailed technical designs and documentation using AutoCAD and specialized network planning tools, as well as supporting operational activities through the preparation of switching orders. This is a specialist position dedicated exclusively to transmission service and long-haul fiber planning and does not include responsibilities related to routing, switching, or voice network design.

Responsibilities:
- Plan transmission services and end-to-end connections across SDH/PDH/OTN/DWDM/microwave technologies.
- Typical interfaces include:
- PDH: V.28,
- SDH/Microwave: 2 Mbit/E1
- STM-1/4/16/64
- Ethernet
- DWDM
- Translate project requirements (e.g., from substation or infrastructure projects) into detailed service and transport network designs.
- Plan and design long-haul fiber optic (LWL) infrastructure required to support transmission services.
Skills/Requirements:
- Technical Requirements (mandatory)
- Deep technical knowledge, ideally with hands-on experience in
- SDH
- PDH
- DWDM
- microwave systems
- long-haul fiber transmission (LWL) at fiber level
- Strong understanding of transport-network services and interfaces across the above technologies.
- Solid experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio.
- Experience with ConnectMaster (desirable but not mandatory)
