Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage site-wide EHS policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and project HSE plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Review and approve RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
- Support incident investigations and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Deliver safety briefings, inductions, and training for site personnel.
- Monitor contractor compliance with HSE requirements and enforce best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of safety performance.
- Work closely with project leadership to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across health, safety, and environmental performance.
Skills/Must have:
- NEBOSH, SiFa, and/or OSHA 30 (completed within the past 5 years) required. EHS SiGeKo certification preferred
- Experience working in construction, data center, or mission-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of German HSE regulations and site safety standards.
- Experience with RAMS, risk assessments, incident reporting, and audits.
- Ability to influence and engage subcontractors and site teams.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in enforcing safety standards on-site.
