The role offers real ownership over facilities design decisions with direct influence on layout, power, cooling and overall site planning from day one. Work across both construction and live operational environments, shaping standards and designs that are rolled out consistently across multiple new builds.

Responsibilities:

• Lead facilities design activities across new data center developments and expansions
• Validate and verify HVAC and electrical designs during design and construction phases
• Own and maintain technical documentation for both construction and operational handover
• Act as the link between construction teams, vendors and operations to ensure designs are delivered as intended
• Review and sign off on HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure and critical facility layouts
• Support commissioning, testing and transition into live operations
• Contribute to long term site planning, capacity modelling and design standardisation across regions

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in data center facilities design
• Hands on HVAC design experience including validation and verification
• Experience with 11kV and 33kV electrical systems
• Background working through construction phases of data center projects
• Ability to review, challenge and approve third party design submissions
• Comfortable producing and maintaining detailed technical documentation
• Experience supporting commissioning and operational handover of critical infrastructure
