Responsibilities:

• Perform racking & stacking of network and server equipment in data centers and customer sites
• Assist with PC and workstation deployments, imaging, and hardware setup
• Support phone system deployments (VoIP hardware, handsets, basic configuration)
• Provide hands-on support for network installations, including switches, firewalls, and cabling
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, connectivity, and end-user issues
• Work closely with senior engineers on larger infrastructure and network projects
• Document work performed, site details, and configurations accurately
• Follow established processes and best practices in customer environments

Required Skills & Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in IT support, field services, or a similar role
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Racking & stacking equipment
  • PC/workstation deployments
  • Phone / VoIP deployments
• Basic network exposure (switches, firewalls, cabling, IP fundamentals)
• Comfortable working on-site and traveling locally within Central MS
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
• Ability to lift and move equipment as required

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Industry certifications such as:
  • CompTIA A+, Network+
  • Fortinet NSE (any level)
  • Cisco CCNA
• Exposure to Fortinet, Cisco, or similar networking vendors
• Experience working in an MSP or project-based environment

Salary:

 $40,000 - $50,000
