Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles daily to deliver and pick up materials, cable reels, steel plates, tools, and equipment
• Assist field crews with installations, including manholes and vaults, as needed
• Safely and efficiently operate utility construction equipment such as backhoes, directional drills, trenchers, skid-steer loaders, cranes, digger derricks, bucket trucks, excavators, and crane trucks

Skills/Must have:

• Track record of using Directional Drill Operators and Mini-Excavator Operators
• Knowledge of DOT enforcement and compliance regulations
• Must meet all DOT requirements, including physical and drug testing
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
• Solid understanding of utility construction and installation practices
• Minimum of 2 years of safe, productive equipment operation experience preferred
• Valid Class A CDL license strongly preferred

Salary:

• Competitive pay rate: $25 - $30 per hour
