Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
  • Supervise maintenance and emergency repairs of HVAC, switchgear, PDUs, UPSs, and fire suppression systems
  • Lead technicians and coordinate external service providers to ensure uptime and safety compliance
  • Oversee infrastructure upgrades, retrofits, and fit-outs with internal and external partners
  • Optimize energy use and track operational KPIs and sustainability metrics
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs for standardization and efficiency
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with local codes and environmental, health, and safety standards
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement preventive/corrective actions
  • Maintain full documentation and asset records for systems under management


Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in facility or operations management in a data center or critical infrastructure setting
  • Expertise in HVAC, power distribution, UPS/generator systems, and construction coordination
  • Technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facility Engineering
  • Solid understanding of uptime requirements and risk mitigation in mission-critical environments
  • Proficient with BMS/EMS/DCIM systems and industry operational best practices
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
