The company is looking for a mid-level IAM Engineer role focused on identity operations in a hybrid Microsoft environment, including secure access, user lifecycle management, and process improvement. The role offers ownership of BAU work, exposure to a mature IAM function, and opportunities to build automation skills using PowerShell and ServiceNow, with a clear path into more advanced IAM and security engineering roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day IDAM administration including account provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning
  • Support Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) processes in line with SLAs and security policies
  • Handle ServiceNow requests including name changes and access-related tickets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve identity and access issues across systems
  • Support access reviews and permissions rationalisation activities
  • Ensure alignment with internal security policies and Zero Trust principles
  • Contribute to automation of identity processes using PowerShell and ServiceNow
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Act as an escalation point for 2nd Line Support and JML teams
  • Collaborate with internal security and technical teams to provide IAM guidance


Skills/Must Have:

  • Strong experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 identity components (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Solid understanding of RBAC, Least Privilege, and Zero Trust principles
  • Experience working with ITSM tools, ideally ServiceNow
  • Ability to troubleshoot authentication and authorisation issues in hybrid environments
  • Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
  • Eligibility for SC Clearance (active clearance highly desirable)
