Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first line of defense by monitoring, detecting, and responding to security, infrastructure, and facility alerts.
- Monitor and respond to facility-related incidents, including:
- High humidity
- High temperature
- Power failures or fluctuations (facility-wide)
- Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts, including:
- Intrusion detection and access control alarms
- Server performance degradation or system failures
- Network connectivity disruptions
- Act as the primary point of contact for all site-specific incidents, assuming leadership during active events as needed.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless handoffs, consistent communication, and timely post-incident follow-ups.
- Conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed incident reports outlining findings, root causes, and resolution steps.
- Support security and engineering initiatives by contributing to continuous improvement of monitoring, surveillance, and access control systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a command center, service desk, or 24x7 operations environment.
- Strong ability to triage and prioritize multiple incidents based on risk and urgency.
- High proficiency with IT tools and applications; accurate and efficient keyboarding skills (25+ WPM).
- Foundational knowledge of security and IT infrastructure, including IP networks, servers, and LAN/WAN environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
- Working knowledge of data protection and privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR) and the importance of safeguarding sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure while meeting time-sensitive and operational requirements.
- Experience using security and monitoring platforms such as Lenel, Avigilon, SOAR, SAOS, and Grafana.
- Familiarity with systems such as Genetec, AMAG, Software House, Hirsch, S2, and other ACS, VMS, IDS, and CCTV platforms.
- Relevant certifications or hands-on expertise with the above systems are a strong plus.
