Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain IP network infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
  • Implement and support routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
  • Support network upgrades, migrations, and deployment projects
  • Ensure network security best practices are followed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, security, infrastructure)
  • Produce and maintain network documentation and diagrams
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support where required


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an IP Network Engineer in enterprise environments
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, VPNs
  • Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies
  • Experience with firewalls and network security principles
  • Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools
  • Experience working in remote/distributed teams


Desirable Skills:

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies
  • Automation/scripting experience (Python, Ansible)
  • Exposure to network virtualization technologies


Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
