Responsibilities:
- Handle access-related ServiceNow tickets, including creating, modifying, and disabling Active Directory accounts in accordance with established policies
- Process group membership changes, password resets, and permission adjustments following documented procedures
- Support routine IAM tasks such as mailbox permissions, distribution list updates, and application access fulfillment
- Follow SLAs and escalate issues outside documented procedures or access levels
- Communicate status updates and resolution details within ServiceNow tickets
- Maintain user and system data accuracy by following change and documentation standards
- Assist with documenting processes, updating runbooks, and suggesting improvements
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continue skill development
Skills/Must have:
- Basic understanding of identity and access management concepts (user accounts, permissions, groups, MFA, RBAC)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory (creating, modifying, disabling accounts; group membership management)
- Experience using or supporting an IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, preferably ServiceNow
- Ability to follow clearly documented procedures, runbooks, and step-by-step instructions
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer-service mindset
- Comfortable communicating via phone, email, and ticket comments
- Willingness and motivation to learn new tools and technologies
- Ability to work as part of a support team and escalate issues appropriately
- Working toward or interested in pursuing IT certifications (Security+, Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Identity Fundamentals, etc.)
