Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide help desk support via phone, remote tools, and onsite visits
- Lead and support new client onboarding and project rollouts
- Deliver end-user training and technical guidance
- Manage email hosting solutions and troubleshooting
- Perform desktop, hardware, and software maintenance
- Support and maintain network infrastructure and perform routine health checks
- Implement and monitor client backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Conduct hardware/software upgrades and system migrations
- Provide on-call support on a rotating schedule
- Travel to client sites across Mississippi as needed
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED/High School Equivalency Diploma) required
- Emphasis in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT support experience, ideally in an MSP environment
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Ability to professionally represent the company with clients onsite and remotely
Proficiency with:
- Google Workspace & Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Remote monitoring & management tools (e.g., NinjaOne, ConnectWise Automate, Kaseya)
- Microsoft Windows & Apple macOS operating systems
- Microsoft Office applications
- Mobile platforms, including Android and iOS
Advanced knowledge of:
- Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, etc.)
- Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/VLAN, firewalls, switches, security policies)
- Virtualization platforms (Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMware)
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Standard office environment with occasional fieldwork
- Use of computers, phones, and general office equipment is routine
- Must be able to lift, move, or install IT equipment as needed
- Reliable transportation required for client site visits
