Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Provide help desk support via phone, remote tools, and onsite visits
  • Lead and support new client onboarding and project rollouts
  • Deliver end-user training and technical guidance
  • Manage email hosting solutions and troubleshooting
  • Perform desktop, hardware, and software maintenance
  • Support and maintain network infrastructure and perform routine health checks
  • Implement and monitor client backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Conduct hardware/software upgrades and system migrations
  • Provide on-call support on a rotating schedule
  • Travel to client sites across Mississippi as needed

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED/High School Equivalency Diploma) required
  • Emphasis in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant IT support experience, ideally in an MSP environment

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Ability to professionally represent the company with clients onsite and remotely

Proficiency with:

  • Google Workspace & Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Remote monitoring & management tools (e.g., NinjaOne, ConnectWise Automate, Kaseya)
  • Microsoft Windows & Apple macOS operating systems
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Mobile platforms, including Android and iOS

Advanced knowledge of:

  • Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, etc.)
  • Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/VLAN, firewalls, switches, security policies)
  • Virtualization platforms (Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMware)

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Standard office environment with occasional fieldwork
  • Use of computers, phones, and general office equipment is routine
  • Must be able to lift, move, or install IT equipment as needed
  • Reliable transportation required for client site visits
