Responsibilities
- Manage the new client sales pipeline, including lead generation, prospecting, and opportunity qualification through cold calling, email outreach, networking, onsite visits, and industry events.
- Build strong rapport with prospective clients and schedule qualified appointments for the Senior Sales Team.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by identifying client needs and promoting the full IT services portfolio.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to position the business effectively.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their IT requirements.
- Accurately track sales activity, interactions, and pipeline progress using HubSpot CRM.
- Attend networking events and conferences to expand professional connections and generate new leads.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, reporting on lead generation activity and pipeline performance.
- Carry out a high volume of outbound activity, including 80+ cold calls per week, supported by email and multi-channel engagement.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in IT sales or a related commercial role is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of IT services, including managed services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
