Responsibilities:

  • Work under general direction as senior technical authority to design, integrate, and evolve complex C4ISR systems and architectures.
  • Analyze and translate operational and customer requirements into system, software and integration architectures in the Command & Control domain.
  • Lead the technical design of C4ISR solutions including situational awareness, GIS services, message handling, and integration with external systems.
  • Coordinate and technically manage internal engineering teams, external suppliers, and technology partners contributing to the C4ISR solution.
  • Support projects with tight deadlines and defined milestones, overseeing system engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Support integration, verification, validation, and acceptance activities of C4ISR systems.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation including system architectures, interface control documents, and technical specifications.
  • Contribute to engineering proposals by defining technical scope, system architectures, resource needs, and technical risks.
  • Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and coordination activities with customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers when required.
