Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical mechanical systems including chillers, evaporative/DX cooling systems, and water distribution networks
- Manage and optimize emergency diesel generators and fire suppression systems to ensure 24/7 uptime
- Support design reviews, commissioning activities, and project audits to ensure adherence to technical standards
- Ensure seamless handover from construction to operations, maintaining full compliance and documentation integrity
- Drive mechanical process standardization across Nordic sites
- Deliver technical training and mentorship to site teams to enhance operational excellence
- Act as a key advisor within the Nordic SME network to promote continuous improvement
- Provide on-site support in Kouvola (FIN04) during the initial operational phase
- Travel frequently locations to support multiple data center sites
Skills/Must have:
- Strong expertise in mechanical systems including chillers, evaporative/DX cooling technologies, and water distribution
- Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning within mission-critical environments
- Significant experience within the data center industry is highly preferred
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- Experience driving quality assurance, compliance, and process standardization
- Strong leadership capability with a proactive approach to team development
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across international, cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel frequently across the Nordic region
- Must be eligible to work in Finland and located within commuting distance of Finnish sites
