Network Architect - Reseller

We’re working with an established VAR that is investing heavily in their engineering capability and looking to bring in an experienced Network Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex enterprise networking solutions.

This is a senior, customer-facing role where you will take ownership of architecture across multi-vendor environments, working closely with both pre-sales and delivery teams to shape high-performance, scalable, and secure network solutions.

As a Network Architect, you will act as a senior technical lead across enterprise customer projects, owning the end-to-end design and guiding delivery across a range of networking technologies.

You will work across both pre-sales and post-sales engagements, translating business requirements into robust, future-proof network architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect complex enterprise networking solutions across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Data Centre and Cloud environments
• Act as a senior technical escalation point and subject matter expert
• Translate customer requirements into scalable, secure and high-performance designs
• Produce high-level and low-level design documentation (HLDs/LLDs)
• Partner with Account Executives and pre-sales teams to scope and present solutions
• Lead architectural decisions across routing, switching, wireless, security and data centre networking
• Drive best practice across security, segmentation and network resiliency
• Support migrations, refresh projects and greenfield deployments
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers
• Stay aligned with emerging technologies and vendor roadmaps

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience designing enterprise network architectures across multi-site environments
• Deep expertise across Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ASR) and Arista (EOS, spine-leaf, data centre fabrics)
• Advanced routing knowledge including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VXLAN, EVPN and MPLS
• Strong security experience with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
• Experience designing secure architectures including VPNs, segmentation and Zero Trust models
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions
• Exposure to network automation (Python, Ansible preferred)
• Experience integrating cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
• Strong understanding of high availability, redundancy and disaster recovery design
• Previous experience within a VAR, MSP or consulting environment is highly desirable
• Confident in customer-facing environments, including workshops and whiteboarding sessions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of networking experience, with at least 3 years in an architectural role
• Industry certifications preferred (CCNP/CCIE, NSE, Arista ACE)
