They are looking for a Network Architect to join a specialised R&D team as the bridge between high-level network engineering and software innovation. The role provides a rare opportunity to define the technical specifications that drive a next-generation network automation platform, working within a lean, elite squad including software engineers and architects.

Responsibilities:
- Define high-level network architecture and technical specifications for software development teams
- Act as the final technical escalation point for complex troubleshooting on customer sites when required
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to translate networking requirements into programmable features
- Lead the R&D efforts in designing modern, automated data centre environments
- Conduct technical workshops and specifications sessions to ensure product-market alignment
- Work within a high-impact team consisting of three Network Architects and two Software Engineers
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in Network Architecture with a background at major vendors (e.g., Cisco or Cumulus)
- Experience defining technical specifications for development or product roadmaps
- Advanced knowledge of modern Data Centre networking and automation
- Ability to troubleshoot highly complex, large-scale network environments as a final tier of support
- Strong communication skills to act as a bridge between networking and software engineering teams
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with Linux-based network operating systems
- Familiarity with programmable networking and API-driven infrastructure
- Prior experience in an R&D or product-focused networking environment
