This organization is building a new Network Operations Centre team in Kuala Lumpur to support one of the world’s most advanced data centre network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support data centre network infrastructure across routing and switching platforms
  • Act as a primary point of contact for network incidents and operational issues
  • Perform Layer 1 to Layer 3 fault isolation and troubleshooting
  • Manage incidents in line with defined service level agreements
  • Escalate and collaborate with cross functional teams and vendors to restore services
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and network changes
  • Follow established operational procedures and contribute to process improvements
  • Support network moves, adds, and changes within the data centre environment
  • Contribute to monitoring optimisation, reporting, and automation initiatives


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience within a Network Operations Centre or large scale network operations environment
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including IP addressing, VLANs, routing, and switching
  • Hands on exposure to Cisco, Juniper routing and switching technologies
  • Experience using network monitoring and ticketing systems
  • Ability to diagnose and isolate network issues across physical and logical layers
  • Strong documentation and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent network certifications
  • Experience within a telecom, service provider, hyperscale, or major enterprise environment
  • Exposure to automation, scripting, or monitoring optimisation
