Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain the organization’s network.
- Build network infrastructure and maintain both external and internal access to web services while administering network environments.
- Review, plan, and evaluate network systems.
- Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to LAN and WAN environments.
- Recommend and schedule necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Provide end-user support for all LAN-based applications and recommend network improvements.
- Maintains documentation, project tracking, and management reporting.
- Provide tactical and strategic input for overall network planning and related initiatives.
- Analyze information security systems and applications, recommending, developing, and deploying measures to protect data from unauthorized access, modification, or loss.
- Troubleshoot network access issues and implement network security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to determine acceptable risk levels for enterprise computing platforms.
Skills / Must Have:
- Knowledge of IP networking, including routing, switching, load balancing, traffic optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Experience with Cisco IOS, BGP, EIGRP, Frame Relay, ACLs, HSRP, TCP/IP, SNMP, TFTP, FTP, SFTP, SSH, Spanning Tree, NTP, TACACS, VPN,
- VLAN trunking, IP subnetting, and MLPPP.
- Understanding of QoS, IPSec tunnels, VPC, Nexus NX-OS, VRFs, firewalls, blade enclosure networking, Cisco WAAS (or other WAN
- optimization solutions), Cisco ACE (or other load balancing solutions), and wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of telephony systems, including PBX and VoIP.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions.
Salary:
