Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain production LAN and WLAN environments across single and multi-site networks
  • Perform switch and wireless deployments, hardware refreshes, and end-of-life migrations
  • Execute change-controlled network work including VLANs, trunking, access ports, and configuration updates
  • Troubleshoot Layer 1–3 network issues including fiber, optics, switching, and connectivity faults
  • Support maintenance windows with pre- and post-change validation
  • Work closely with senior engineers, vendors, and ISPs during incidents and infrastructure upgrades
  • Maintain accurate documentation including diagrams, inventories, SOPs, and change records


Skills / Must Have:

  • Hands-on experience supporting Cisco-based LAN/WLAN environments
  • Strong understanding of switching fundamentals (VLANs, trunking, STP, EtherChannel, PoE)
  • Experience troubleshooting fiber connectivity and physical layer issues
  • Comfortable working in live production networks and change-controlled environments
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Operational mindset with a focus on reliability and service restoration

Salary:

  • $80,000 – $90,000 base salary (targeting ~$85,000 depending on experience)
