We’re seeking a charismatic, technically exceptional Network Evangelist who can blend deep networking expertise with outstanding communication and advocacy skills. In this role, you will champion modern network solutions, educate clients, and help shape the direction of our network practice.
This position combines hands-on technical delivery, thought leadership, presales engagement, and community evangelism. You’ll work directly with clients, run POCs, shape architectures, and represent our consultancy’s network vision across the industry.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Delivery
Design, implement and optimise advanced network solutions across enterprise, cloud and hybrid environments.
Conduct deep-dive assessments, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
Lead network transformation projects with a focus on quality, scalability and reliability.
Deliver technical proof-of-concepts to validate solutions and demonstrate value to clients.
Evangelism, Influence & Thought Leadership
- Act as a strong advocate for modern networking, both internally and externally.
- Produce engaging technical content including blogs, demos, videos and deep-dive sessions.
- Present confidently at events, webinars and customer workshops.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging architectures and evolving vendor ecosystems.
Client Engagement & Pre-Sales
- Engage with customers early to understand requirements and guide technical direction.
- Translate complex networking concepts into clear, meaningful insights.
- Support pre-sales activities such as scoping, solution design, RFP responses and vendor comparisons.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to senior leaders.
Vendor Collaboration
- Work closely with key network vendors to understand product roadmaps and partner programmes.
- Align client requirements with the right vendor ecosystem, including SD-WAN, SASE, routing, switching and cloud networking.
- Support the development and maintenance of strategic vendor relationships and certifications.
Internal Enablement
- Mentor engineers on best practices, architecture patterns and modern network technologies.
- Contribute to the creation of new service offerings, frameworks and technical assets.
- Share knowledge proactively to strengthen the capability of the wider engineering team.
Skills & Experience Required:
Technical
- Strong background in enterprise networking, ideally within a consultancy or vendor-led environment.
- Expertise in routing, switching, wireless, network security, and cloud networking.
- Familiarity with modern ecosystems such as SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust, and network automation.
- Confidence in delivering POCs, demos, and hands-on technical workshops.
Soft Skills & Behaviour
- Excellent with people — able to build trust, engagement, and long-lasting relationships.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable representing the network practice across a variety of platforms and forums.
Desirable Certifications
- CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, cloud networking certifications, or vendor-specific equivalents.
- Evidence of community involvement, talks, blogging, or advocacy work is advantageous.
