They are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Fortinet technologies to join this growing managed security services provider. This fully remote role is open to candidates based in Germany and offers the opportunity to work on next-generation security solutions. The position focuses on the design, deployment, and optimization of Fortinet security solutions, playing a key role in strengthening client infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Fortinet-based security architectures (e.g., FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
• Deploy and configure advanced network security solutions for enterprise clients-Support pre-sales activities with technical expertise and solution design input
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing security environments
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality security services
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and Fortinet technologies

Skills/Must have:

• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer in an MSSP or similar environment
• Strong hands-on expertise with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, etc.)
• Solid understanding of network security principles (firewalls, VPNs, IPS, IDS, segmentation)
• Experience with design and deployment of enterprise security solutions
• Familiarity with multi-vendor environments is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English (German is a plus but not essential)

Desirable Certifications:

• Fortinet NSE certifications (NSE4–NSE7 preferred)
• Additional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security) are advantageous
