Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across multiple client environments
- Provide Tier 2 NOC support for incidents related to routing, switching, firewalls, and connectivity
- Support and maintain Fortinet and Cisco network and security platforms
- Work within OT and Oil & Gas environments, ensuring network stability, uptime, and security
- Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests while meeting SLA requirements
- Perform root cause analysis and assist with long-term remediation efforts
- Collaborate with senior engineers on escalated issues and network improvement projects
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
Required Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in a NOC or network support role within an MSP or enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Cisco (routing & switching) and Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
- Exposure to or experience supporting OT / Industrial / Oil & Gas networks
- Strong troubleshooting skills across LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies
- Understanding of network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco or Fortinet certifications (CCNA, NSE 4/5, or similar)
- Experience supporting remote or rugged environments common to Alaska operations
- Familiarity with network security best practices in industrial environments
