Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the escalation point for NOC/Helpdesk tickets, troubleshooting advanced hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Provide managed IT support for multiple client environments, ensuring SLA compliance and clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform proactive monitoring and maintenance to identify and resolve potential performance, network, or security issues.
  • Support patch management, endpoint protection, and data backup verification to maintain secure, recoverable systems.
  • Configure and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls while monitoring bandwidth, latency, and connectivity.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other data privacy standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, network diagrams, and change management records.
  • Collaborate with Tier 1 Technicians, Network Engineers, and management to ensure efficient escalation and resolution.
  • Participate in infrastructure projects, upgrades, and new technology implementations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network operations.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, routing, switching).
  • Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft 365 administration, and endpoint management tools.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring systems such as LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or PRTG.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Cisco CCNA/ITIL Foundations preferred.
