Responsibilities:

  • Manage low voltage projects including access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, nurse call, mass communications, intercom, AV, and data/network infrastructure.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables to ensure on-time and under-budget completion.
  • Lead project kick-offs, manage stakeholder expectations, and coordinate with sales, procurement, field staff, and other internal teams.
  • Read and interpret project plans, specifications, manuals, submittals, and other engineering documents.
  • Maintain compliance with site and safety regulations (OSHA), and ensure field teams are certified and trained appropriately.
  • Manage procurement, vendor relationships, and subcontractors.
  • Provide coaching and professional development for team members, with a focus on long-term growth and continuous improvement.


Skills/Must have:

  • PMP certification preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Procore preferred, but required
  • 3-5 minimum construction project management, either for a general contractor or for a Division 27 & 28 contractor/integrator
  • Medium and larger project management experience (20K sq ft / 200K sq ft)
  • OSHA certification, forklift training
  • CTS and BICSI certs preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience managing projects with access control, CCTV, intrusion system, nurse call, mass communications and intercom, AV and data/infrastructure network backbone and hardware
  • Experience with managing project budgets, time, purchasing
  • Success in keeping projects on time and under budget
  • Can read project plans, project manuals, submittals and other engineering related documentation
  • Can work with, manage and motivate field personnel
  • Has experience with professional development not only for self, but for team
  • Understands and can successfully manage projects from the point of sales hand-off, team review, working with procurement and managing the time and relationships with all key stakeholders
