Responsibilities:

• Support deployment of DWDM optical networks
• Validate network designs and technical plans
• Assist with system staging and field deployment
• Perform fiber characterization and testing
• Troubleshoot optical transport network issues
• Work closely with customer and vendor engineers
• Develop configuration documentation and MOPs

Skills / Must Have:

• Experience deploying DWDM optical networks
• Knowledge of longhaul and metro architectures
• Experience with optical fiber testing and analysis
• Hands-on troubleshooting and commissioning experience
• Familiar with Nokia or Ciena optical platforms
• Strong communication working with customers

Salary:

• $100,000-$115,000 (depending on experience)
