We are partnering with a dynamic organization at the forefront of technology solutions. With a global presence and a commitment to excellence, our client offers an exciting opportunity for an RF Network Engineer to join their team.

We are seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to fill a crucial role within our client's service team. This position involves both pre- and post-sales support, with opportunities for UK-wide and international travel. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in commissioning systems, conducting fieldwork, and providing exceptional customer support.


Responsibilities:

  • Traveling to customer sites for commissioning and support, with occasional international travel (typically up to 2 weeks at a time every other month)
  • Monitoring and supporting stadium systems across the UK.
  • Collaborating with the systems engineering team on design and implementation projects.
  • Conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) for system deployments.
  • Providing training and technical support to operators and clients.

Skills & Experience: 

  • Exceptional customer service skills, adept at handling challenging situations.
  • Basic RF knowledge, including one or more of power dBm, spectrum analyser operation, signal generator use, and understanding of cabling and antenna types.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.

Nice to have: 

  • Rigging experience
  • IT/Networking skills, including IP addressing and router setups
  • SC Clearance is highly desirable but not mandatory

Salary & Package:

  • Starting at £40,000 with flexibility for the right candidate.
  • Daily allowance for travel expenses, including accommodation and meals.

  • On-call allowance (1 in 3 rotation - circa £1,000+ extra per annum)
