Responsibilities:
- Deliver Cyber Security consultancy across the full systems engineering lifecycle
- Support secure system architecture and design activities
- Develop and execute security test cases alongside engineering teams
- Contribute to the rollout and assurance of secure solutions
- Assess organisations against relevant frameworks and standards including NIST, Cyber Assurance Framework (CAF), Cyber Essentials (CE), and Secure by Design (SbD)
- Provide security assurance activities aligned to JSP440 and JSP604/453
- Support security accreditation processes
- Engage directly with clients across Defence, public sector, and private sector environments
- Collaborate with leadership and sales teams to support tender responses and pre-sales activities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments through training and conferences
Skills/Must Have:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience delivering consultancy services to clients (public sector experience desirable)
- Strong hands-on technical knowledge (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, SQL)
- Good understanding of traditional infrastructure, cloud platforms, and SaaS environments
- Knowledge of public and/or private cloud technologies (desirable)
- Experience with security assurance and accreditation
- Working knowledge of JSP440 and JSP604/453
- Experience applying Secure by Design principles
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical security concepts to varied audiences
- Current SC clearance (minimum requirement)
Qualifications:
- Security or engineering qualification (e.g., CompTIA Security+)
- CISSP (desirable)
- Technical degree or equivalent experience
