Responsibilities:

  • Lead full lifecycle delivery of large-scale datacenter construction projects (greenfield through commissioning)
  • Manage general contractors, MEP trades, commissioning agents, and third-party consultants
  • Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, cost controls, and risk mitigation
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with utility providers on high-voltage interconnection and substation integration
  • Drive hyperscale-quality standards for power, cooling, redundancy (N+1, 2N), and high-density AI workloads
  • Manage permitting, inspections, AHJ coordination, and entitlement compliance
  • Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure commissioning readiness (Level 1–5 commissioning)
  • Report progress to executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Support client-facing technical discussions related to capacity, phasing, and delivery timelines


Skills/Must have:

  • Strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, liquid cooling, substations)
  • Experience with 50MW+ projects preferred; 100MW+ campus experience highly desirable
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. construction practices, procurement models (EPC, CMAR, Design-Build)
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments, including hyperscale clients
  • Strong contract negotiation and commercial management skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
  • Knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier Standards (Tier II–IV)
  • Familiarity with ANSI/TIA-942 Datacenter Standards
  • Experience working under NEC (National Electrical Code) and IBC compliance
